Our post is named in honor of Private Elijah B. Hays, who was killed in action on October 1, 1918. His family moved to Patterson in 1912 to pursue the real estate business, but moved to Washington state after all three sons were sent to train at Camp Lewis in preparation for World War I.

Invest in Me provides participants with opportunities for self-development and growth on a personal and professional level, build skills to become leaders in their school and communities, and provide guidance and mentorship to support a successful transition to education and/or career path.
Love Patterson, through Love Stanislaus County, is a nonprofit organization that organizes city-wide volunteer days and other opportunities to love Patterson. Love Patterson’s vision is to inspire our community to love each other through connecting, participating, giving and serving. Love Patterson’s City Wide Volunteer Day is always the last Saturday in April. Save the date!

PRIDE (Patterson Recognizing Individuals Determined to Excel) is a community-based non-profit foundation that gives scholarships to eligible Seniors graduating from Patterson Joint Unified School District. Graduating Seniors who are eligible are notified by the College & Career Counselor and invited by email to an informational session.
